The Toilet Paper of India ( TOI )

TOI(a.k.a Times of India) which sells obscenity and filthy socialite lifestyle, has stooped to the lowest level of idiocity by claiming that France's TGV train runs at a speed half the speed of light!!

TOI-"this train also holds the world record of being the fastest train on rails running at 515.3kmph which is almost half the speed of light!"

Leader in high -fashion, cheese, wine...and high speed trains! Yes, France ???? the love capital of the world???? tops here too as a global leader in rail transport technology. The flag-bearer of France's rail technology is the TGV, better known as the ??world's fastest train.?

TGVs normally run at a speed of 320kmph and that is not its maximum high speed for this train also holds the world record of being the fastest train on rails running at 515.3kmph which is almost half the speed of light!
TGV trainsets with second sections have a total of almost 36,000 horsepower.

Running at a start-to-stop average speed of 263??3 km/h, a single TGV between Lyon-St Exup?ry and Aix-en-Provence put France to the top in the 2005 world speed survey, overtaking Japan's 261??8 km/h timing between Hiroshima and Kokura.

It may all sound phenomenal but TGVs are commonplace in France and people travel long distances through them as it is a faster, cheaper and quite a comfortable travel in these smooth-running trains.

They say there is nothing quiet like a ride on TGV. So, next time if you happen to be in France, make sure you travel a brief distance through the TGV. Yeah, the rides in TGV are always brief!

What is disturbing is Toiletpaper of India is the fastest
growing newspaper in the country.
A nation that relies on toilet paper for news is surely headed down the drain...

Happy reading.....

*Edit* Like suresh has pointed out in the comments they have corrected their mistake.
Thanks for suresh for pointing that out....

It was also once upon a time called Hawala Times of India. Several generations of its owners starting from Ramakrishna Dalmia were arrested and thrown into prison for money laundering, FERA voilation etc.
